Ariana is Denver grown, with deep roots in the community - from her childhood in Park Hill to earning a BA in Sociology at the University of Colorado at Auraria. After years in the restaurant industry, she felt called to something more aligned & enrolled at the Aveda Institute Denver. It was there she began to question the traditional salon industry - its pace, its priorities & the patterns that didn’t feel sustainable for artists or the greater good.

She joined Alyssa Ashworth-Housh at The Organic Salon Denver as an apprentice in 2018 & immediately started to help form the culture of our salon to one rooted in intention, environmental awareness & care for the full salon eco-system. Ariana continued to focus on the skills she wanted to master through an apprenticeship with Jessica Lambert at Loba Studio, developing a specialization in curly cutting, styling & care. Her work is deeply personal & shaped by her own experience as a curly-haired human searching for someone who truly understood her hair. That experience now fuels the way she shows up for her clients.

Ariana is known for creating cuts that honor the natural movement of her client's texture while keeping things low-maintenance & wearable. Her approach is thoughtful, educational & grounded in helping people feel more like themselves - not more “done.” As both a curl specialist & a natural boundary holder within the salon, she creates a space that feels safe, honest & deeply supportive. Within the salon, Ariana is also the High Priestess of plants - helping care for the living, breathing energy of the space with the same intention she brings to her work. Outside of it, she’s a devoted cat mom who finds joy in quiet, nourishing rituals at home with her partner. Her downtime is rooted in restorative activities like yoga, gardening & slow, cozy evenings. On occasion she loves to venture out for live music & connection with friends. Ariana has been a pivotal part of our salon’s evolution, helping shape a culture that feels grounded, caring & deeply human.
