Melissa’s path as an artist started with a love for the planet & personal style. Raised by a grandma who taught her to care for the earth, she grew up paying attention to what we use & why it matters. That early influence led her to become a Green Circle certified artist & fully embrace low-tox, eco-conscious practices, as well as, creating personalized fashion from thrifted & up-cycled clothing.

Trained as a hairdresser in Southern California, Melissa fell in love with dimensional blonding & vivid color as a way to help her clients express their uniqueness too. Her education has taken her from NYC to Paris. Melissa owned her own eco-friendly salon from 2018–2021 before joining The Organic Salon Denver. She’s known for creating color that feels intentional & uniquely tailored.

In 2023, Melissa felt called to the Midwest to be closer to family, where she stepped into a management role at a large Aveda salon & expanded her leadership skills. But, Denver & this community kept calling her back. She returned in October 2025 with even more experience, perspective & care for her craft. Melissa creates a space that feels open, genuine & easy to settle into—where you’re met with authentic enthusiasm & honesty.

When not in the salon, Melissa can be found listening to true crime podcasts, reading rockstar & madam biographies, spending time on or near a body of water, practicing her own spiritual rituals & hanging with her sweet little pup, Pickle.

Melissa specializes in highlighting, balayage, vivids, grey transitions, grey blending & Cezanne keratin treatments.

Her cutting specialties are razor cutting, bobs, long-layers, shags, & ritual haircuts.
