All of our artists specialize in specific services & we don’t offer services for which our artists are not expertly trained & practiced. We will always redirect you if we believe another artist is a better fit for your desired look, even if that artist isn’t in our salon.

Ritual Scalp Treatments

In many cultures throughout human history, the crown of the head has been thought to be a direct connection to spirit & wisdom, where we can experience oneness with all that is. When the crown is imbalanced, it is common to experience confusion, brain fog, depression, apathy, indecision, & other cognitive issues.

During this meditative service, we will use a ritual hair brush & essential oils - both proven to promote scalp health & hair growth, to brush out anything that is physically/energetically/emotionally tangled. Also includes a rosemary smoke cleanse, intuitive card pull (you keep the card), intention setting, fire ceremony, breathwork, cranial sacral scalp massage, shampoo & blow-dry style. You will leave feeling lighter, refreshed, renewed, & relaxed.

Ritual Haircuts

In many cultures, hair cutting is symbolic of releasing trauma, commemorating a meaningful occasion, & releasing the past. This offering includes offerings within the ritual scalp treatment mentioned above PLUS a haircut ceremony. The length left behind is completely up to the recipient, it does not have to be a big external change to experience a big internal change. It can range anywhere from a trim to a full transformation.

After we establish what is being cut out of the hair, the ritual begins with the powerful experience of you making the first cut yourself. This is a rite of passage for anyone growing through a life change, wanting to strengthen the connection to their intuition, or wanting to initiate a particular shift in their life. We will explore and discover patterns and beliefs that are impacting the way you see yourself, while artfully supporting you in making choices that express your true essence more holistically.

Curly Cutting & Styling

The history of haircutting & styling has not always embraced natural texture. Therefore, many hairdressers are not trained properly on how to handle, treat, cut & style natural hair. As a salon, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment, which includes being inclusive to all hair textures. Our artists are all trained on curly cutting and styling techniques. We do not allow our staff to take curly hair clients until they have proven their skills.

We also require all new curly clients to come into the salon for a consultation before their first haircut appointment. This allows us to get to know you, your hair & your routine. All of these factors are vital for us to set aside the right amount of time for your customized service. It also allows us to provide you an accurate price quote. & (most important), it allows the client to get a feel for us & make sure they are comfortable with the artist they selected. We know the traumas curly clients have experienced and it is incredibly important to us that our curly clients leave our salon happy with your curls.

Razor Cutting

Razor cutting creates soft, feathery movement in the hair that never looks harsh & grows our beautifully. Several of our staff members are expertly trained in haircutting using straight & guarded blades. These tools allow us to carve into the hair & create movement in the most lifeless textures, remove weight without creating frizz or unwanted expansion, & perfectly sculpt detailed pieces to make each haircut a true work of art.

Gender Affirming Haircuts

Hair is the ultimate accessory. It can transform a person’s look, as well as, their confidence. We are passionate about creating a safe space for our clients to receive the services that make them feel like their most authentic selves. At The Organic Salon, we provide gender affirming haircuts, meaning whatever haircut makes our client feel amazing, despite historical cultural norms. We do not label or charge for our haircuts based on gender. Nor do we judge. In fact, we encourage everyone that comes in our salon to be their truest selves.

Hairprint

We are the only salon in Colorado to offer Hairprint grey coverage and grey blending services. Our salon has offered Hairprint since our inception in 2016. Over the years, we have learned all the tips and tricks to maximize coverage & longevity with Hairprint. This nontoxic, ppd/ptd free coloring service is just another unique offering that makes our salon stand out among the rest.
